HHB is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant franchise with over 85 locations across the US, serving up customizable burritos and bold flavors to hungry customers who aren’t afraid of a little spice.

The Problem

HHB had no unified visual system, leaving their locations looking inconsistent and disconnected. Struggling to stay fresh and top-of-mind with customers month to month, the brand needed a single creative voice owning the full pipeline, from campaign concepts to photography to production.

Design Intent

  • Build monthly promo kits (menu boards, window clings, print ads, mailers and more) to unify the visual language across all locations.

  • Handle food styling, photography, and editing, making all images feel craveable.

  • Adapt all campaign assets for digital channels such as social media and their app/website.

  • Focus on large-scale brand visibility using billboards, brochures, and merchandise.

Insight

The food is the brand, and the photography controls the feeling. Customers react to images, so making the food look irresistible at every scale is what made promotions successful.

Outcome

The cohesive visual system strengthened brand awareness, grew social media engagement, and led to the brand expanding with 10+ new locations.
